Who We Are

We are an informal association of members, past and present volunteers, and past staff members of the Toronto Humane Society.

We have concerns regarding:

1. the welfare of the animals under the guardianship of the THS;
2. treatment of staff members, volunteers and members of the public by THS management;
3. misuse, misappropriation and mismanagement of donated property;
4. contraventions/non-compliance with governing/regulatory bodies;
5. preservation of Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) charitable registration; and
6. the future of the THS as a legitimate charitable organization providing a humane refuge for unwanted and abandoned animals in Toronto.
