BECOME a Member of the THS / Renew your existing membership.
- The way to bring about change is to attend the next AGM (Annual General Meeting) and have your voice heard. The AGM is held annually in the fall. To attend the meeting of a not-for-profit Corporation like the THS, you have to be a member.
- Keep copies of your dated application & cheque if you choose to pay this way rather than credit card. You can also attend at the 11 River Street, Toronto facility and pay cash; be sure to request a receipt. If you haven't heard anything in a month, please contact us with your documentation.
- Keep copies of all parts of your Membership Application.
CONSIDER appointing a Friend of ART as your proxy holder.
- Once you receive your Membership Card, you are eligible to speak and vote at Meetings. Should you not be able to attend, you can complete a Proxy with the following choices as to who may act for you:
- Tim Trow (President)
- Robert Hambley (Secretary-Treasurer)
- _____________ (Someone of the Member's Choice)
VOICE your concerns to the Board of Directors of The Toronto Humane Society.

PUT your name forward and run as a Director of the THS.
- We've served an affidavit for a copy of the Membership List under the Corporations Act. When the List is obtained, we can communicate directly to the Members.
